We absolutely loved our stay at this B&B. the rooms were beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and spacious, clean bathrooms. It was such a treat to have coffee and tea facilities in the room, along with delicious homemade cookies. the owner, Mary, was incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. We appreciated her travel suggestions and the warm welcome we received. the breakfast buffet was extensive, with a variety of options including local cheeses and preserved fruits. the freshly cooked breakfasts were tasty and filling, setting us up for a day of exploring.
Honestly, there was nothing we disliked about our stay at this B&B. However, it would have been nice to have more information about the local area and attractions readily available in the rooms.

We had a truly delightful time at At Ballinsheen House & Gardens. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and cozy atmosphere, complete with a lit kitchen stove and a friendly cat. The thoughtfully decorated rooms provided comfortable beds and charming touches like an alarm clock and a tea-making facility with lovely ware and a biscuit-jar. The attention to detail in the house's decor created a serene and relaxing environment, perfect for a restful stay. The breakfasts were exceptional, with unique touches like orange rind with prunes. We also enjoyed exploring the well-managed garden and its pleasant seating areas.
Although we had previously stayed at a four-star hotel with paper cups and limited space, there was no comparison to the feeling of being at home and truly resting at At Ballinsheen House & Gardens. The owner's willingness to arrange for the return of a forgotten jacket without any fuss was greatly appreciated.
